A Little Bit About the History of the $100 Bank Note

Benjamin Franklin is pictured on the $100 bill, the inspiration for this collectible coin.  The  bill debuted in 1929 and has remained in circulation ever since. It is the largest denomination bill available in US currency since July 13, 1969.

The bill is only one of two denominations printed today that does not feature a President of the United States.  The other is the $10 bill featuring Alexander Hamilton. The $100 bill is also the only denomination showing a building outside of Washington, D.C.

A Little Bit More About The Coin We Used for this Ring

Each of the copper rounds we use to make our rings pays tribute to this founding father's banknote.

The copper round is a collectible coin only.  One side shows a bust of Benjamin Franklin, one of the most famous Founding Fathers of the United States.  The reverse side of the coin features Independence Hall in Philadelphia which was where both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States were adopted.
